Installation instructions The 12 Yamaha Honda MasterGuard hub Kit
Before the propeller service, make sure that the motor is in neutral with ignition off or disconnected to avoid any possibility of the engine starting and cause injury.
Do not install any propeller without a thrust washer in place. If a thrust washer is not used, could lead to severe damage to the impeller or motor unit.
(If you have any questions, please get in touch with your dealer or call our service department customer.) Outboard ® for Yamaha and Honda ®:
(1) Make sure its OEM thrust washer is in place. Clean and lubricate the slots of the prop shaft. (Any fat marine grade it is acceptable).
(2) Slide the Hub Assembly in IMPELLER housing from the front.
(3) Slide to the Assembly of the PROPELLER on the prop shaft.
(4) Slide the PROP nut separator # 12050 in the Assembly of the propeller before prop nut.
(5) The lock nut prop according to the owners Manual of your engine for pair of adequate props nut tightening and conform to the specifications.
